PIU DESIGN AT WROCLOVE DESIGN 2016

Between 18 and 22 May 2016, over 6000 m2 in the furniture section of Aleja Bielany, the largest shopping centre in Poland, was transformed into a place showcasing good design and other amazing solutions within the framework of Wroclove Design 2016.

FOR SALE: DESIGN – this is the motto of the third edition of the International Festival of Good Designs “Wroclove Design”. Its organizers want to encourage the public to reflect on the significance of design in contemporary world, which increasingly gives the impression of a “world for sale”. The event consisted of 7 exhibitions from Poland, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic and 70 displays created by over 100 designers and artists from all over the world, 40 workshops, as well as over 250 hours of meetings and heated debates.

During 5 days of the Festival, PIU Design presented an exhibition entitled “Aluminum, Concrete and Leather in Interior Spaces”. The exhibition was organized with assistance of our partners – Alphenberg Poland (distributor of natural leather) and Bomabeton – decorative concrete GFRC GRC Wrocław (a studio specializing in concrete finishings). High doors of the PIU Design brand incorporate three interior design materials which have been extremely fashionable in recent years – aluminum, concrete and leather. The self-authored Aluminium Design technology has had a significant impact on the visual characteristics of PIU Alu Concrete and PIU Alu Leather door-leaves.
